Around the world, students are getting ready to attend Co-Serve’s Servant Leadership Academy programs which will be held in Kazakhstan and Colorado this summer. In this photo, students at the Kazakh-American Free University are finalizing their travel plans to Colorado. 42 students from 5 countries will be attending one of these two Academy programs this year.
The Academy program has a number of goals… First, we want students to see real-life examples of people and communities who are striving to practice servant leadership in their work and lives. We will show students some amazing examples in both Kazakhstan and the USA. Second, as students see these examples, we want them to consider their own purpose in life. As part of this, we take students through a process to develop their own personal mission statement. And, third, students will have an amazing opportunity to experience being part of a learning community with other students from around the world.
