GLOBAL EDUCATION PROGRAMS
Learn how you can support our Global Education Programs that serve the students of our partners.

Co-Serve works to support seven servant leadership communities around the world who are engaged in servant leadership development in their countries. These include the KAFU Servant Leadership Center (Kazakhstan), the BGKU Center for Servant Leadership Development (Ukraine), the Karen Leadership Development Program (Thailand), Harvest Leadership Community in Africa (Nigeria), Shepherd’s Home of Servant Leadership (Philippines), the Institute for Leadership Development (Afghanistan) and New Hope Academy (Central Asia). One primary form of this support is to organize education programs for the students of our partners. These programs include our On-Line Servant Leadership Courses, our Mentor Programs, our Servant Leadership Academy Programs, and our Education through Business Immersion Program. All of these programs work to build a safe community with students where they can think about their values and their purpose in life.

Our On-Line Servant Leadership Courses bring global students together into an on-line environment where they can share and learn together. Servant leadership principles are both discussed and practiced through experiential activities during the course. A variety of interactive on-line learning tools, including the use of breakout groups, help students to connect and share their ideas and experiences with each other.

Our Mentor Programs connect a student with a Co-Serve mentor over a 4 month period. Each week, students and mentors discuss a servant leadership topic over the Internet by sharing their own experiences and challenges related to the topic. The Mentor Program provides a unique opportunity for two individuals, usually from different countries, to meet each other and to share about their lives with one another.

Our Servant Leadership Academy Programs are designed to help students learn from real-life examples of servant leadership. The Academy programs are currently held in Colorado, Oregon, and Kazakhstan. In each location, the Academy introduces students to a series of amazing organizations which are striving to live according to servant leadership principles. These examples of love and service have a powerful impact on students. Through these experiences, the Academy programs work with students to help them consider their own purpose in life.

Our Education through Business Immersion Programs is a 3 1/2 week program which immerses students in the daily life and work of organizations that are practicing servant leadership. Students also live with carefully selected host homes who desire to live as servant leaders in their homes. During the program, students experience real, daily home and work life, among people striving to practice love, respect, and service to their families, colleagues and clients.
