AN INTERESTING CONNECTION BETWEEN THAILAND AND UKRAINE

Co-Serve’s mission is about empowering and connecting our partner communities. Recently, Co-Serve’s partner in Ukraine, the Center for SL Development at BGKMU, recognized the need for the students at the Karen Leadership Development Program (our partner in Thailand) to improve their English. And, as it turns out, many of the Ukrainian students at the Center are also studying to be English teachers! So, over the last semester, Ukrainian students have been connecting with KLDP students over the Internet and helping them learn English. We believe this is a wonderful example of how the Co-Serve global community works – where our partners share their gifts and experience with each other.
